10. Achill Island – off the beaten path for a reason
You may have heard that Achill Island is an unmissable Irish landmark, but we must admit there are much better places to visit than this mediocre island in Mayo.
The island may have glorious turquoise beaches, some of the tallest cliffs in Europe, and a fascinating heritage to discover, but believe us when we say it’s not worth the effort.
