You simply cannot go wrong with ordering a traditional Irish fry from this place. It’s the perfect way to start your day. (Assuming you’re not planning on running a marathon afterwards, Lemon Jelly’s Irish fry’s are HEARTY.)

This cosy and comfortable spot located in Dublin’s bustling Temple Bar area is an absolute gem and is truly one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Dublin.

If you’re looking for somewhere to sit and people watch while you enjoy your meal and some deliciously mellow coffee, then this is the place we would recommend visiting. The homemade tarts in this place are really to die for—we suggest trying the spinach and feta tart, and you can thank us later!

As we mentioned above, people-watching is a particular delight to do when at this place. Don’t be surprised if you can’t find somewhere to sit inside the café — Joy of Chá is popular and fills up quick. Thankfully their outside seating is delightful.

If you’re someone with a sweet tooth, then you’re going to want to visit the Queen of Tarts bakery and café. You’ll be amazed at the sweet selection of breakfast and brunch items that are available to purchase.

We are strong proponents of having cheesecake for breakfast — what could be more perfect than starting your day with a heavenly creamy slice of Bailey’s cheesecake? Exactly. Nothing.

Locals absolutely adore this place and it’s clear to see why. Queen of Tarts is one of the nicest breakfast and brunch spots in all of Dublin, and since it’s tucked down a pedestrian street, a lot of people miss out on its wonders!

If you appreciate a good, strong cup of coffee, then you need to get yourself to One Society in Dublin. It has some of the nicest tasting coffee we’ve ever tried anywhere in Ireland, and we’ve tried a LOT of places.

Not only are their drinks phenomenal, but their food is out-of-this-world grade, too. This place is famous for its pancakes—you’ll understand why if you order them.

Their fluffy American style vanilla pancakes are mouth-wateringly delicious, and the salted caramel sauce that you can get dripped over them is utterly delectable. We have to be carried out of here in a wheelbarrow after every time we visit because we just can’t get enough.

You can’t go wrong with a Junior’s brunch. The staff are so warm they will greet you like family when you enter—it must be the Italian influence on them!

A visit here will fill you with so much foodie goodness you will already be making plans to come back before you’ve even left. Not only are the staff super helpful and knowledgeable about their menu, but their food is simply superb.

The sandwiches at Junior’s, in particular, are a highlight. Filled with fresh and delicious ingredients, each bite will send a spine-tingling shiver of delight racing up and down your back. It’s without a doubt one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Dublin, and we’re looking forward to our next visit.
