So, let’s give you the lowdown on what’s in store.

Sullivan’s well-groomed and sun-worshipping beer garden will be the location for this free beer festival, which is said to be bigger and better than ever, this May 2024.

Featuring nine Irish breweries, including Lineman, O’Hara’s, and Hopfully Brewing Company, as well as one guest international brewery, attendees will have plenty to tickle their taste buds.

Returning this year on 17/18 May, the festival gives beer lovers a chance to browse breweries’ offerings, sample the taproom’s mouthwatering hand-stretched pizza, and mingle with friends (and furry friends, too).

If that isn’t enough, there will be plenty of entertainment to get the crowd going, with resident DJs and musicians, and attendees will have the chance to chat with brewers to learn more about their craft.

With ample outdoor space, this is set to be a fantastic event for large groups, couples, and those who want to pop in for a drink or two with their pets. For those planning to attend with children, all ages are more than welcome on Saturday until 5 pm.

Exciting new and returning brewers – it’s all happening at Sullivan’s

The famous sustainable brewery Wicklow Wolf will be among the returning brewers, offering a wealth of delicious beers which have become a hit with the nation since they first came out in 2014.

In addition, some new brewers will be on hand to share their expertise, including Wide Street Brewing Co, which hails from County Longford and specialises in wild and mixed fermentation.

If that wasn’t enough to tantalise the taste buds of beer lovers nationwide, the exciting addition of To Øl, an admired Danish brewery that was named the world’s ninth-best brewery in 2014, will also be on hand to offer some fantastic Danish beer.

Athlone-based brewer Dead Centre Brewing produces exceptional craft beers which beer enthusiasts across the country love. Ballykilcavan Brewery is known for its award-winning home-grown barley, which makes some uniquely delicious craft beer.

It goes without saying that this is a top-notch craft beer lineup you won’t want to miss!
