Trademarket is an exciting new outdoor market that opens in Belfast today. Made up of shipping containers, similar to the famous BOXPARK in London, Trademarket will be located on the site of the former Movie House Cinema on Belfast’s Dublin Road.
Set to welcome its first visitors on Friday, 22 July, the market will feature stalls from a range of local businesses, selling everything from food to eat right away or take home, clothes, drinks, crafts, and more.

What to expect as new outdoor market opens in Belfast today ‒ plenty to see, do, eat, and buy

Founded by Will Neill, the man behind the popular Common Market in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, Trademarket looks set to be exactly what the city needs.
After three years of work and preparation, Neill and his team are looking forward to finally welcoming their first customers to the market today.
General Manager Max McPherson gave Belfast Live some insight into what visitors can expect from a visit to Trademarket. He said, “The concept here is that we have handpicked some local food and retail vendors – ten in total.
“We also have two bars, and the idea is that we are collaborating the bar with the food vendors.”
Food and retail vendors you’ll find at Trademarket – something for everyone

A total of ten local food and retail vendors will open their doors today to welcome the very first customers to Trademarket.
Vendors include Bodega Bagels, who have proven a hit with bagel lovers at East Belfast’s Banana Block. Pie Queen, Brew & Yaki, Hey Chick!, Kubo, Moon Gelato, Pi Guy, Pipiàn, and Rebel & Ruse will also be offering tasty delights as the new outdoor market opens in Belfast today.
Once you’ve had your fill of food, you can take a look around the various retail vendors at the market. Businesses such as American Madness, Barkley & Waggins, Bethany Fruit Market, Outside In, and Urban Market will be there to allow visitors to shop until they drop.
