With the sun shining and summer well on the way, one ice cream parlour in County Meath is keeping customers cool with their monstrous Mr. Whippy.

Looking for the perfect way to cool down this summer? We think we’ve found the answer, as one Irish ice cream shop takes the internet by storm serving Ireland’s largest 99.
X user Paul Dunphy took to social media to share the monstrous cone his friend Tara was served at a filling station in County Meath –– and ice cream lovers couldn’t believe their eyes.
A childhood favourite, nostalgic of family trips to the seaside or visits from the ice cream van, nothing beats a good ol’ 99 when the sun is shining.
A 99 like no other – enough for all the family

Dunphy took to X to share a photo of the gigantic sweet treat. He captioned the image, “Ever wondered what Ireland’s largest 99 ice cream looks like? Ta-da. I’m obsessed with this!”
“It’s called ‘The Big Boy’ from Tara’s Garage, Dunshaughlin, County Meath,” he continued.
Costing just €4, the impressive cone boasts 15 layers of Mr Whippy ice cream. It is then complete with strawberry sauce and, of course, a Cadbury Flake on top.
We can only imagine what the sugar rush must feel like after that monstrous creation.
Maybe one to avoid if you’re on a diet, the calorie count of the colossal creation might be a bit over the daily recommended intake.
Ireland’s largest 99 – the ultimate summer treat

Standing at an impressive one-foot tall, one commenter asked, “Does it have internal scaffolding of some sort?!”
Social media users couldn’t quite believe their eyes, with many vouching to make the trip to the County Meath garage to try it for themselves.
One person even said they were “moving to Ireland” after seeing the impressive cone. Meanwhile, another joked, “The challenge is to see can you lick faster than it melts.”

Another thanked Paul for sharing the post. They wrote, “Cheers Paul…I’ve finally got the wife over to the idea of a ‘holiday’ in Ireland again this summer.”
Almost like something from Man Vs Food, we half expect Adam Richman to arrive to take on the challenge. Do you think you can tackle it?
