Irish city ranked among trending bridal party destinations in Europe – soak up Irish culture
With a return to global travel, many brides-to-be are keen to head abroad for their hen do. Trending destinations include the likes of Porto in Portugal and Milan in Italy.
However, Ireland’s capital city, Dublin, has ranked sixth for trending bridal party destinations in Europe.
This year, the Irish city has seen a huge 44% rise in Google searches for hen parties, making it one of the most popular European destinations for soon-to-be newly-weds.
With plenty of iconic bars, unique attractions, and a wealth of history and culture, it is no surprise that Dublin ranks so highly among those planning hen parties.
Other trending hen party destinations in Europe – soaking up the sun
While the Emerald Isle offers plenty for hens to enjoy, the one thing it lacks, compared to other destinations on the list, is reliable warm, sunny weather.
The top trending destination is the Portuguese city of Porto, which saw an impressive 100% rise in Google searches for hen parties.
Milan closely followed, with an 83% rise. The French capital of Paris is hot on the heels of Milan. The city of love saw an 82% rise, while the Italian capital of Rome saw a rise of 64%.
Coming just above Dublin to claim fifth position is Dubrovnik in Croatia, which saw a rise of 45%. Meanwhile, Brussels in Belgium ranked just behind the Irish capital, seeing a 40% rise.
Closing out the top ten is Palma, Mallorca, in eighth, seeing a 38% rise. Lisbon in Portugal followed in ninth (+27%) and Madrid in Spain in tenth (+26%).
