- There is a small onsite car park which can get very busy on weekends and at peak times, so always arrive early to secure a spot. Alternatively, you can park at Kilmashogue Forest car park, which also has an entrance.
- This is a dog-friendly trail, and dogs can join you on the hike as long as they are on a lead.
- The Fairy Trail Loop takes one-and-a-half to two hours from the Ticknock car park and two to two-and-a-half hours from the Kilmashogue car park; follow the green arrows.
