10. Red Bull Formula 1 Showrun

Gear up for one of Belfast’s biggest events on 3 November: the Red Bull Formula 1 Showrun.

With the streets of Belfast becoming alive as a Red Bull racetrack, this is sure to be one of the most thrilling events of the season. Racing legend David Coulthard will be on hand to offer a show-stopping performance of spins, twists and turns bound to get the adrenaline flowing.

There will be three shows (each approximately 30-minutes in duration). Showtimes are 8pm, 8.30pm and 9pm.

9. Belfast City Centre Entertainment

From 10 – 11 November 2018 Belfast City Centre Entertainment will sweep the city offering a stellar line-up of things to see and do.

From live music, stand-up comedy shows, kids activities and performances spanning art and dance, this mini-festival is a great opportunity to experience a little dash of all Belfast has to offer.

8. Outburst Queer Arts Festival

Some of the hottest tickets this November in Belfast are bound to be for the Outburst Queer Arts Festival taking place across the city between 8 – 17 November 2018.

7. Belfast Bred Tour

Be a part of Belfast’s only theatrical food tour: the Belfast Bred Tour. Led by Chef Barney – who offers nonstop entertainment and knowledge in equal measure – this tour is a great way to see the city and have some fun along the way.

The tour takes guests en route around this vibrant city, snacking on samples and learning lots at the same time.

6. Sounds of Belfast

If you’re going to be visiting Belfast any time this year, be sure to do so from 11 – 18 November so to be able to attend Sounds of Belfast 2018.

This annual music and arts festival is about celebrating Belfast’s talent across an array of platforms. Expect live performances, discussions, panel talks, activities and more!

There will also be music industry awards and it’s an all-around great way to support local artists whilst finding your newest music obsession.

5. Dippy on Tour

One of the best events to grace Belfast this month has got to be Dippy on Tour. Hosted in Belfast’s Ulster Museum, Dippy is the National History Museum’s Diplodocus dinosaur skeleton.

This event is perfect for kids and adults alike, who will be blown away by the sheer size and might of Dippy.

Although this is not a ticketed event, it is highly advised to pre-book in advance due to the astonishing demand.

Dippy is in Belfast for the whole month of November so make sure you don’t miss him!

4. Belfast Christmas Lights Switch On

Ring in Christmas in Belfast this year at this annual celebration which marks the beginning of the holiday season with the flick of a switch.

The event – which sees the commercial Christmas lights turned on by Lord Mayor, Councillor Deirdre Hargey – will take place on 17 November at 6.30pm in front of Belfast City Hall.

As this is a free, ticketed event, guests should register online beforehand.

3. Autumn Twilight Market

Embrace seasonal feels this November in Belfast at the Autumn Twilight Market.

The venue, St. George’s Market, will be transformed into a fantastical woodland of curiosity and delight with food vendors, artisanal suppliers and indie designers offering some of the best gifts to be giving this Christmas.

2. Mumford & Sons

The internationally acclaimed folk-rock band are set to take the stage this November in Belfast, and it’s sure to be a night to remember.

Having locked down a solid fan base since their inception in 2007, this gig is bound to the biggest and best of the month. The tour is in anticipation of their upcoming album, Delta.

1. The Lady Boys of Bangkok: “Wonder Women”

Marking their 20th anniversary, the newest show by The Lady Boys of Bangkok “Wonder Women” is bound to be the best event happening in Belfast this November.

The shows will take place on the 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 November @ 7 p.m. Then on the 12th November @ 9 p.m.

This show-stopping spectacle will be the best cabaret experience to be had with “guest appearances” from the likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Sold!
