Not only is Kelly’s Cellars one of the best-loved watering holes in the city, that many celebrities have visited. Rather, it’s actually one of the oldest.
Established in 1720, this city-centre spot boasts over three hundred years of tradition and history. This is part of the charm that makes this pub a must-visit while in Belfast.

Heading out of Belfast, the second of the Northern Ireland pubs named among the best in the U.K. is Blackbird pub in Derry.

With reviewers on TripAdvisor praising the pub’s ‘brilliant live music’ and ‘amazing food’, Blackbird came in 28th in the list of the top 30 pubs and bars in the U.K.

The top spots for a pint in the U.K. – according to TripAdvisor
The survey, which named two Northern Ireland pubs among the best in the U.K., was conducted by arcade retailer Liberty Games.
To come up with their list, they found the number one rated pub or bar in every city on TripAdvisor. Then, ranked them by the number of five-star reviews.
If you’re across the water, you need to check out Bistrot Pierre in Birmingham. Taking the top spot, this Birmingham bar boasted over 700 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor. So, they must be doing something right!
Meanwhile, Scarlett Green in London’s buzzing Soho region came in a close second. It was follow by Lost and Found in Leeds, which came third.
