Now that 2018 is truly behind us, it seems we’re on the home-stretch with all the excitement for what is to come in 2019.

Hopefully, the days of “dry January” and being broke are long gone.

10. Aslan

Local legends Aslan are due to play two gigs during March 2019 on their home turf. The rock group, which was founded in Dublin in 1982 are still playing with absolute intent and drawing crowds by the masses to their shows.

9. KT Tunstall

The legendary 2000s pop queen, KT Tunstall, is due to take the stage in Ireland this March 2019. The Scottish singer-songwriter first swept us away with her performance on Later… with Jools Holland, singing “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree”. She has released six studio albums, and she has been nominated for (and won) a series of accolades over her career.

8. Bastille

Bastille is a British indie-rock band which formed in 2010. They were self-produced before signing to Virgin Records. Their first studio album smashed the UK charts, and over their career, they’ve been nominated for four Brit Awards as well as having sold millions of records worldwide.

7. The Game

The Game is an American rapper and hip hop artist who is signed under Dr Dre’s label, Aftermath Records. He is highly regarded for his impact on rap music on the Californian hip hop scene. The Game will play a small Irish tour including Galway, Limerick and Dublin in March 2019.

6. Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj is an American rapper and singer-songwriter. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago although now permanently resides in California.

Minaj has been called one of the most influential female rappers of all time, having sold over five million albums worldwide. On top of that, she has won a hefty amount of accolades including American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

4. The Stranglers

This iconic English rock band have been slaying the charts since their inception in 1974.
