Located on the north coast of Ireland, Portstewart is set at the heart of the iconic Causeway Coast.

Home to lots of local cafes and restaurants and not far from famous attractions like The Giant’s Causeway and Downhill Demesne, there’s plenty of reason to visit and plenty of things to do in Derry.

With a friendly local feel, you can enjoy a relaxing morning at the beach while also being just a short drive from the vibrant city of Derry.

6. Howth, Co. Dublin – a quaint corner of the east coast

Located just north of the city of Dublin on a peninsula jutting out into Dublin Bay, Howth feels a million miles from the bustling capital city.

From the breathtakingly beautiful Howth Cliff Walk to various boat cruises along the bay, the historic Howth Lighthouse, and nationally renowned bars and restaurants, Howth is the perfect place for a weekend escape this summer.
