When the adaptation of the book was only at its beginning stages, Daisy Edgar Jones, who brought us a beautiful and emotional rendition of Marianne in Normal People, had some words to say about the series.

The actress has said she is “so excited” for the new series. She even offered to come back on set as a runner just to be a part of the series’ creation.

Now, we know a lot of people will be comparing the two series, but Jones has stated that she thinks Conversations With Friends has a “different style” and is “a little bit darker/more complex”.

With many of the same crew returning for the show’s creation, we can’t wait to see how the story unfolds on screen. Not long now!
