Get ready because, from 1–4 June, the Rory Gallagher International Festival is returning to Ballyshannon, County Donegal. The festival takes place once again in the town where the legend himself was born and is a tribute to the his musical legacy.

To celebrate the life and career of Rory Gallagher, there will be an unbelievable lineup including a selection of musicians from Ireland, the USA, the UK, and beyond. In addition, fans from across the globe are expected to attend the festival.

With a dedicated Rory Gallagher Festival map available to ensure you don’t miss a thing and plenty of great accommodation options like camping, glamping, and self-catering choices, the well-organised festival is due to be a hit yet again.

The festival, hosted in Ballyshannon for the 18th year in a row, will feature over 25 hours of free, open-air concerts and pub gigs and a jam-packed lineup across various stages.

On top of these free events, there are ticketed gigs at the Festival Big Top each night. Tickets for these gigs are on sale now, priced at €35 per night. A special early bird weekend ticket is currently available at €90 – essential for any Rory Gallagher fan.

Getting there will be easy as ever, with direct links from Dublin Airport, Ireland West Airport (Knock), Galway, and Donegal. The festival will also provide a special shuttle bus from Bundoran to Ballyshannon for the duration of the event.

Attendees will be delighted with the option to take their campervan or tents or opt for a glamping option onsite at the festival. Furthermore, there are plenty of hotels and guesthouses nearby as alternative options.

Headliners of Rory Fest are the Michael Schenker Group, who will perform on Saturday night, and there are plenty of excellent musicians to check out throughout the weekend.
