Taking place in Trim and Athboy from 28 to 31 October, the festival pays tribute to the ancient Irish festival of Samhain or ‘Summer’s End’.

An impressive line-up of headliners ‒ some of Ireland’s biggest names
County Meath’s famous Púca Festival has announced its return for Halloween 2022. Celebrating Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween, Púca is a festival like none other.
Paying homage to the tradition of Samhain, the festival is a vibrant and immersive event that is strongly rooted in Irish folklore.
Taking place in the hubs of Trim and Athboy from Friday 29 to Monday 31 October, the festival has already confirmed an impressive line-up of headliners.
Those in attendance include Irish dance band King Kong Company, alongside Block Rockin’ Beats, The High Kings, and Blindboy. Irish comedians Joanne McNally and Neil Delamere will provide the laughs, alongside various others.

Festival organisers have collaborated with Fáilte Ireland, Irish artists, seanchaí storytellers, and the local community to ensure this year’s festival will be like none you’ve ever witnessed before.
Guests can expect a breathtaking spectacle of Irish music and performance to take over Ireland’s Ancient East. So, this is one you won’t want to miss!
Now in its fourth year, the festival was devised to encourage more international visitors to Ireland’s shores every November and December. It also hopes to encourage locals to explore different regions of the country.
What to expect ‒ three days of exciting events
With the news that Púca Festival is to return for Halloween 2022, festival organisers also released a highlight of the scheduled programme.
There will be a range of free and ticketed events taking place over the three days that all celebrate Ireland’s folklore tradition and the roots of Halloween.
Events will take place across four stages, each named after prominent figures from Irish folklore. Choose from the Boann stage, so-called after the goddess of the Boyne, or the Morrigan stage for the Irish goddess of war.
