Both restaurants are in County Derry. Harry’s Shack and Lir, located in Portstewart, were included on the prestigious list. This is thanks to their stunning locations and tasty food.

Harry’s Shack is set on Portstewart Strand’s sands and is recognisable thanks to its large, sheltered terrace. This rustic seafood restaurant is set against the beautiful beach of Portstewart Strand, a sandy National Trust beach.
Their menu is mainly comprised of many excellent and simply prepared dishes. They all incorporate the freshest seafood caught daily by local fishermen.

During the day, the restaurant, which overlooks the majestic River Bann, changes its lunch menu based on the day’s sustainable catch.
At night, Lir offers visitors many creative dishes. This includes Pan-Fried Cod served with Crispy Confit Chicken Leg and a Boulangère Potato Spiral. Keeping in with their ‘locally sourced’ beliefs, Lir offers a majority of craft Irish brewers.
