In a post on Facebook, the New York diner revealed that they’ll be serving up a menu of tasty Irish Chinese food. They wrote, “If you think Irish people dream about shepherd’s pie and colcannon when they’re homesick, think again.

“For most of us, ‘comfort food’ means a big, steamin’ 3in1 – fries, rice, and curry sauce, all cosied up together in one glorious box. It’s messy, it’s saucy, and it’s a taste of home we simply can’t live without.”

They continued, “Back in Ireland, Chinese takeout is practically a national treasure. Forget fish and chips; Friday night calls for curry-drenched fries and a hefty spice bag.

“What’s a spice bag, you ask? It’s a heap of fries, sautéed onions, peppers, and crispy chicken strips tossed in a blend of Chinese spices. Want extra curry sauce on the side? Of course you do!! We practically demand it.”

So, whether you’re Irish living in New York or are just curious to try this Irish national treasure, The Kitchen is the place to go.
