A brand new two-day music festival is coming to Belfast this summer, with headliners such as Eric Prydz and Patrick Topping.
EMERGE Music Festival will be an annual multi-stage outdoor event from the teams behind Belfast club brand Shine and Belsonic festival, which is one of the best annual music festivals in Ireland.
The exciting new festival will take place at the Boucher Road Playing Fields on 27 and 28 August.

Belfast recently received UNESCO City of Music status, placing it among the world’s top cities for music. EMERGE festival will be the latest in a huge line-up of events set for the city.
The new two-day music festival coming to Belfast this summer will host over 40 acts across three stages. With a capacity of over 20,000 attendees per day, EMERGE will be the largest event of its kind in Ireland.
Bringing together world-renowned international electronic artists and up-and-coming musicians from the Irish music scene, it’s sure to be a remarkable event.

Headliners Eric Prydz, Disclosure, Peggy Gou, and Patrick Topping will descend on the city as part of the global festival circuit this summer.
The massive line-up will also feature acts such as Kettama, Mall Grab, and Michael Bibi. DJ Seinfeld, Dusky, Special Request, FJAAK, Rebeckah, and many more will also participate.
To provide an audience experience to rival the world’s biggest electronic music festivals, bespoke sound and lighting/AV installations will be put in place across all stages.
A world-class event – Belfast’s thriving electronic music scene
Co-promoter and director Alan Simms spoke on the two-day music festival coming to Belfast this summer. He said, “Belfast is one of the most fertile and dynamic scenes of its kind in the UK or Ireland.
“The electronic music scene is one that has grown steadily in Belfast over the 30-odd years that I’ve been promoting in the city with my Shine brand. It’s grown exponentially over the last few years.
“We’ve promoted many large scale outdoor electronic events in recent years. But, we’ve always wanted to do a huge multi-stage event of this kind.”
He continued, “Feedback from our audience suggested that a huge appetite exists for a unique production of this kind in Northern Ireland.
“We’re lucky to have some of the world’s biggest names in dance music on our inaugural line-up of EMERGE Music Festival, most of whom we’ve been working with since their very first club shows in the country.”
