Just south of the capital city in the peaceful and stunning surroundings of County Wicklow, one Irish seaside town has plenty to offer visitors to the island.

One Irish seaside town has been named among the world’s most underrated travel destinations for the second year in a row.
Global travel publication Time Out recently released their updated ranking of ‘24 most underrated travel destinations in the world’. We were pleased to see that one Irish town made the list again.
Travel Editor Grace Beard wrote that Bray was among the “overlooked spots that offer great (or quiet) alternatives to the classics.”
Something for everyone – a quiet coastal town with lots to offer

Ranking alongside Filandia in Colombia and Lombok in Indonesia, the Irish seaside town just nabbed a spot. Ranking 24th on Time Out’s list of the world’s most underrated travel destinations, it has plenty to offer.
Travel contributor Stephen Emms wrote, “It was the arrival of the railway in 1854 that made Bray, just 12 miles south of Dublin, so popular it became known as the Brighton of Ireland.
“After years of decline, its mile-long Victorian seafront now buzzes with cafés, bars, and restaurants. Stroll from the harbour along the esplanade to the 800-ft high Bray Head, worth the hour’s climb for panoramic views from its rocky summit.
“Refuel at Butler and Barry on the beach, before a Guinness at ace local institution, the Harbour Bar.”
