A few Irish lads were brave enough to wander into an abandoned hotel.
The video, which was uploaded to Meanwhile in Ireland’s YouTube channel, shows their journey through the creepy ruined hotel.
The former Best Western Riverdale House Hotel is located on the shores of Kenmare Bay just over 1 km from Kenmare town.
Old descriptions from the hotel owners say it was “the perfect choice to tour the famous Ring of Kerry and the beautiful West Cork. Our waterfront restaurant and bistro are renowned for its fine cuisine and extensive wine list, while local activities include an 18 hole golf course, deep sea angling, hill walking, cycling, water skiing and tennis. The hotel offers a restaurant, bistro, lounge, bellman, babysitting services, fax services, room service, safe deposit box, free parking, meeting and banquet facilities available for up to 450 and elevator. Golf course 5 kilometres from the hotel. All rooms have alarm clock/radio, coffee/tea maker, colour cable television, hairdryer. Non-smoking rooms available. Pets allowed.”
However, the hotel has been closed for a number of years.
