Predictions are rumbling throughout movie circuits, and according to BOLAVIP, The Banshees of Inisherin is a strong contender for three Oscars nominations.

The Banshees of Inisherin is the latest film by British-Irish playwright and director Martin McDonagh. It was clear from first-look pictures and clips that the film would be a hit.

The film sees In Bruges stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson reunite. The story follows two lifelong friends at a stalemate when one suddenly decides to end the relationship. As a result, this leads to alarming consequences.

Director Martin McDonagh told Vanity Fair in his first interview about the movie set in native Ireland, “I wanted it to be as beautiful as possible. To aim for beauty and for cinema.”

From the direction of Claire Foy, Women Talking boasts a star-studded cast including Jessie Buckley and Rooney Mara. The film could be en route to taking home a few Oscars next year.

Irish actress Jessie Buckley is predicted to be nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Award. Other movies that could be up for nominations include Everything Everywhere All at Once, Elvis, Triangle of Sadness, The Son, and many more.
