Long haul travel specialists, Travelbag, analysed Instagram data and Google searches to reveal the most picturesque destinations in Europe to visit during autumn.
Ranking the continent’s prettiest towns and cities, one Irish city was named on the list of beautiful autumn destinations.
Dublin, with its golden foliage and crisp autumn air, claimed ninth spot on the list. Boasting 5,016 Instagram posts under the hashtag #autumnindublin, Ireland’s capital ranked alongside some of Europe’s most beautiful destinations.

London claimed the top spot on the list, with its beautiful urban parks and mild temperatures. Coming in at almost 90,000 Instagram posts, the UK capital is a firm favourite among autumn holidayers.
Paris followed in second place with almost 70,000 votes, followed by Rome in third with over 18,000. Berlin claimed fourth with almost 17,500, followed by Milan in fifth with over 16,000.
