A famous, award-winning NYC pub has played host to an Irish Christmas-themed pop-up, Jingle Jangle.

The famous NYC pub, The Dead Rabbit, has recently transformed its main-floor Taproom into an Irish Christmas-themed pop-up which they have dubbed “Jingle Jangle”.
The great Irish-owned bar has now fully embraced the Christmas spirit thanks to their Christmas-themed pop-up, which has added a new spin on the traditionally brilliant bar.
The Dead Rabbit – an award-winning Irish cocktail bar

The Irish-owned pub, The Dead Rabbit is a famous NYC pub and also an award-winning Irish cocktail bar which is recognised worldwide and even boasts the claim that they are “The World’s Most Awarded Pub”.
This is not hard to believe upon visiting this drinking establishment; such is the level of quality that they offer.
“Jingle Jangle” is The Dead Rabbit’s first-ever festive pop-up. Aidan Bowie, The Dead Rabbit beverage director, was excited for Jingle Jangle as he spoke about the similarities between an Irish Christmas and Thanksgiving.
He said, “An Irish Christmas is usually very focused around your loved ones, both friends and family. The 25th typically centers around a big meal, very similar to Thanksgiving in a way.
“The meal is normally spread over an entire afternoon or evening where people will exchange presents. There are Christmas games played and lots of good food”.

Bowie also added when asked about what the Jingle Jangle menu has to offer, “The cocktails on the Jingle Jangle menu are inspired by a number of classic Christmas flavors or dishes, like gingerbread or mulled wine.
“These flavors or desserts all tend to be very sweet, rich and candied. It was really important for us to recreate the flavors, but still keep the cocktails balanced, delicious and fitting with The Dead Rabbit”.
On the menu, Jingle Jangle offers many great Christmas-themed drinks, such as the Gingerbread Man, which is a take on an Old Fashioned with flavours of gingerbread.
Then there’s the Deck the Halls, which is a margarita-style drink that is flavoured with spiced apple syrup. The Frosty’s Flip contains a mix of Irish whiskey and vanilla, nutmeg, and a whole egg served frozen.
Keeping the Christmas spirit alive – donating to Another Round, Another Rally

The Dead Rabbit’s Christmas pop-up is open from 29 November to 3 January.
Besides transforming this classic pub into a place full of Christmas joy with festive music, cocktails and seasonal bites, they have also taken to heart the true message of Christmas: giving.
In keeping with the gift-giving spirit of the Christmas season, one dollar from every holiday cocktail will be donated to Another Round, Another Rally, a non-profit financial and educational resource for the hospitality industry.
If you haven’t visited this great pub in New York City yet, then there’s no time like the present!
