Participants at the Rage Room will be equipped with sledgehammers and protective gear.

Those who take part will be placed in a designated area where they can engage in what is described as therapeutic property damage.

This will involve the destruction of a variety of items such as “glass items, microwaves, washing machines, printers, keyboards”.

Customers attending the Rage Room have also been invited to bring their own items to destroy if they so wish.

Rage Room Ireland allows customers to bring large items along, such as printers, TVs and monitors. They also accept small items such as wooden or plastic chairs, DVD racks, VHS tapes, small electrical items, small cabinets and more.

Lukas – the owner of Rage Room Ireland

Lukas, the owner of Rage Room Ireland, has said that the feedback he has received so far has been great, leaving him “pleased and happy”.

“I don’t drink personally, and I wanted to find more fun things to do on the weekend; there’s just not much to do here in Dublin”, he said.

After some research, they realised that there were no rage rooms in the Republic of Ireland, so they decided to make it happen.

“It’s for people wanting to de-stress from the week of work, for a weekend activity, or just for a fun day out or maybe even a date idea”, Lukas explained.

The cost for a session at Rage Room Ireland is €35 per person, with sessions being available for anywhere between one and three individuals. Each session lasts for 20 minutes.

Individuals must be aged 18 and above. Larger rooms can also be requested for group sessions if required.
