The little island off the west of Europe offers something for every kind of traveller. We may not enjoy the warmest weather conditions compared to other top destinations. However, Ireland offers plenty of appeal for those looking for an unforgettable escape.

There is fascinating history and breathtaking scenery around every corner. Combined with its lively and friendly cultural feel, Ireland has gained renown as a bucket list-must.

From the Wild Atlantic Way to the city streets of Dublin, the Causeway Coast to the heartlands, you can find new adventures all across the island. This is why Ireland has ranked among the best countries in the world to visit.

Ranking Ireland at number 14, Condé Nast Traveller wrote, “For American travellers, Ireland has always felt a bit like an old cardigan: cosy, easy, and comfortable.

“And while it’s still very much the kind of place you can take multiple generations of family members to trace your genealogical roots or to scope out centuries-old castles and fireplace-warmed pubs, there’s a decidedly youthful – and, dare we say, sexy – wind blowing across the Emerald Isle.”

Well, we must say we’re flattered at their glowing review of the place we’re lucky enough to call home.

“Now, in addition to crossing Trinity College’s Long Room off your bucket list, you might also find yourself foraging for nettles and pears with Takingaleaf founder Miceal Murray or sipping whiskey at Teeling, the first new distillery to open within the city in more than 125 years.”
