Could you see yourself wielding the pizza peel for Ireland’s biggest pizza? You might be in luck, as its home is up for sale!

Belfast doesn’t lack for pizzerias, though some are better than others. One restaurant has been a mainstay on the Belfast pizza scene for nearly ten years but today dropped the news that it will sell one of its outposts.
Thankfully, it will keep two other restaurants in its arsenal, but the question remains: Who will take over the home of Ireland’s biggest pizza?
Little O’s – home of Ireland’s biggest pizza

Little O’s opened its first restaurant on the Andersonstown Road in west Belfast back in 2015.
Such was its popularity it soon expanded into the south of the city, opening its Ormeau Road branch in 2018, and further afield, with the recent introduction of a restaurant in Castlewellan, County Down.
It puts an emphasis on fresh local produce from local suppliers, with the result a pizza high in quality and very popular amongst the people of Belfast.
Little O’s is also home to Ireland’s biggest pizza – the Big O. The whopping 33” pizza feeds 16 people and comes with £100 prize money if finished within 45 minutes.
Up for sale – the Ormeau Road branch

The Ormeau Road branch of Little O’s opened in late 2018, to bring slices to one of the best areas for foodies in the city. Today (16 May), however, the owners announced their plans to sell the premises.
In a Facebook post, the owner said that they had decided to downsize their business portfolio due to personal health reasons.
Reflecting on the success of Little O’s Ormeau Road restaurant, the post noted, “We have built an extensive customer base. We supply most schools and youth clubs along with a large number of businesses and households across south, east, and central Belfast”.
Key to the restaurant’s consistent success was its “amazing staff”. The post continued, “From chefs to counter staff and drivers, they have all been loyal, hard-working, and most have been with us from day one”.

As highlighted in the post, the sizeable restaurant boasts a 28-seater dining room, an alcohol licence and bar, and facilities for sweet treats such as ice creams and milkshakes.
Rent is set at £20,000 per annum, with rates costing an additional £8,000 annually.
