Bruce Springsteen’s 2023 tour will mark the first time he has been back to Ireland in nearly seven years. On the subject, he said, “I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year.”

The tickets went on sale just this morning, 27 May, and there were over 70,000 people vying for tickets to the two set Dublin tour dates.

For anyone interested in attending, standing tickets cost €131 and tickets in the stands range from €96 to €156 per person. A hefty fee but a high demand to match it.

The original dates for the gigs were 5 May and 7 May 2023. Anyone who missed it can now join the queue for tickets to the 9 May gig.

The upcoming gigs will mark Springsteen’s first gig in Ireland in almost a decade. His last performance was for The River Tour at Croke Park in May 2016.

After reconnecting with The E Street Band, Springsteen has said, “I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year – and beyond.”

This will mark the first tour since the group wrapped up The River Tour in 2017. It kicks off in February 2023 in arenas around the United States.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band are also set to perform in arenas all over Europe. Dates are confirmed in Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Gothenburg, Munich, and many more.

Also, further dates for the UK and Belgium will appear at a later date. Any Springsteen fans out there will know that he is famous for playing long concerts. They often include huge setlists covering his massive 50-year music career.

He first performed in Ireland 37 years ago to a crowd of over 65,000 along with The E Street Band. They performed on a stage at Slane Castle in County Meath on 3 June 1985.

Also, along with many memorable performances, fans won’t forget his two-hour show at The Point Theatre, now the 3Arena, in 2006 becoming the live album ‘Live in Dublin’.
