Travel site Big Seven Travel included the Middle Street spot on their list of the 50 Best Pizzas in Europe.

This Galway pizza restaurant has not only been named among the best in Europe. Rather, it is the only Irish pizzeria to make the list, making it the best place for pizza in Ireland!

As the name suggests, the pizzeria is owned by two brothers, Eugene and Ronan Greaney. They currently serve from two locations – their restaurant on Middle Street and the beer garden at famous Galway pub, O’Connell’s.

Revealing this Galway pizza restaurant as one of the best in Europe, Big Seven Travel commended the Irish company for going “from strength to strength since its humble beginnings”.

They wrote, “It’s well known for its Neapolitan-style pizza, topped with Italian and local Irish salami and cheese.
