Springnuts Festival – what to expect

Taking place on Sunday, 5 May 2024, the Tory Island Club has set up this event for dedicated Springsteen fans.
The festival is to be played by The Human Touch, who describe themselves as Ireland’s number-one tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band.
You will also be expected to take part in the Bruce Springsteen Karaoke. Bring plenty of passion and let the lyrics flow as you sing along to the likes of ‘Born to Run’, ‘Dancing in the Dark’, and more.
The catch? There are only 120 tickets available, so make sure you act fast if you want to make it to Tory Island. They are priced at only €35.
Get your tickets via the event’s Facebook page.
The Human Touch – Ireland’s best Springsteen tribute
The Human Touch are all about celebrating Bruce Springsteen, bringing the music of one of the world’s most celebrated musicians regularly to Irish venues.
Indeed, they are even Ireland’s first-ever Springsteen tribute band. The six-piece band were formed back in 2009, and have been playing regularly since 2010.
Tom Moore is on saxophone and percussion, while Gerry Rice acts as lead guitarist. Nigel Brothers is the lead vocalist, who uses all his skills to give the best enactment possible of Springsteen.
Terri Holland is the keyboard player, Leo Ric is the band’s drummer and percussionist, while Gordo Murci is a guitarist and bass guitarist for the band.
