Prepare yourself for cuteness overload as Dog’s Trust Ireland are next to take part in the Jerusalema Dance Challenge.

The viral dance challenge has been raising spirits across Ireland and further afield amidst the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Dog’s Trust Ireland are next to take part in the Jerusalema Dance Challenge in an adorable video posted on social media.
In a clip posted to Instagram, the team at Dog’s Trust thanked everyone for their ongoing support – revealing that they managed to home over 1,000 dogs in the last year alone.
To give something back, Dog’s Trust Ireland decided to take their turn in the viral Jerusalema Dance Challenge, and the outcome is exactly what we all needed.
Following in the footsteps – two left feet

Following in the footsteps of the Gardaí and the Dingle Coast Guard, our four-legged friends and the staff at Dog’s Trust Ireland have stepped up to the challenge – and the outcome is amazing!
The video shows the staff at Dog’s Trust Ireland doing the iconic moves to the now well-recognised song with their four-legged counterparts watching on – with a couple even getting involved.
In the post to social media, Dog’s Trust Ireland wrote,
“Dogs might have two left feet, but that didn’t stop them joining our team in the #JerusalemaChallenge! We can’t wait to see what @dogstrust come up with!
Thank you so much to our supporters for getting us through the challenges of 2020; you are what keeps us going. In 2020, you helped rehome 1,159 dogs!”
Dog’s Trust Ireland then challenged their U.K. counterparts to show off their dance moves, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
What is the Jerusalema Dance Challenge? – a viral dance trend

The Jerusalema Dance Challenge is a viral dance trend that started with a group of friends in Angola who filmed themselves dancing to the 2019 song by the South African singer Master KG.
It gained traction in Ireland after the Swiss Police challenged Ireland’s Garda Síochána to step up to the plate and show off their dance skills – and the results were epic!
Next, the Dingle Coast Guard decided to show off their moves while also showcasing the incredible Kerry scenery in a video posted to social media at the start of February.
Since then, plenty of people in Ireland and across the world have taken part in the viral dance trend, including nursing homes, schools, families, and more.
In our opinion, however, Dog’s Trust Ireland’s take on the viral Jerusalema Dance Challenge might just be the best so far.
