“They are cinematic, breathtaking, and one of the biggest attractions in Ireland. Stand anywhere and take a selfie, and the background will be spectacular.
“For uninterrupted views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, visit the round stone lookout called O’Brien’s Tower.
“For even more dramatic panoramic views, following the Doolin Cliff Walk and Coastal Trail. This will take you from the charming village of Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher.”

With over 634,375 Instagram posts and an incredible 5 million Tiktoks boasting the hashtag #cliffsofmoher, the Cliffs of Moher ranked among world’s most popular selfie spots.
Other locations named include Disneyland Paris, which took the top spot, boasting over 6 billion posts with the hashtag #disneyland. Coming in second place is Disney World in Florida, coming in at just over 6 billion as well.
The tallest building in the world, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, came in third place. Social media users posted just over 1.5 billion pictures using the hashtag #burjkhalifa.
Other top selfie spots included the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, and the Grand Canyon. Machu Picchu, London Bridge, St Basil’s Cathedral, and Kruger National Park also made the list.
