Lorna O'Dea

Lorna O’Dea is a travel writer from County Meath, Ireland’s so-called fifth province, with a particular interest in Irish history and culture. A graduate of Dublin City University with a BA in History and English, and Trinity College Dublin with an MPhil in Children’s Literature, Lorna brings a strong sense of curiosity and storytelling to her writing. When travelling around Ireland, she is especially drawn to castles, ringforts, passage tombs and historical ruins. While she has explored Spain, Slovenia, Canada and South East Asia, Ireland remains her favourite place to discover hidden gems and share local secrets with readers.
