For the third week in a row, The Back Page are hoping to lift the spirits of their customers by offering them the chance to bag a free pizza as long as they have the right name.

On the week of 9 January, anyone with the names Angela or Brian were able to claim a free pizza of their choice, and last week anyone called Darren or Deirdre could tuck into their favourite pie completely free of charge.

On their Instagram page, they state, “We have been serving irresistible comfort food since 2014. Our mission is to keep you smiling with every bite.”

And no doubt, any Eilishs and Erics will be smiling when they hear the news this week!

Due to current restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic, pizzas are only available for takeaway or collection.

You can give them a call with your name and order on the number + 353 (0) 89 238 2343, or order online via Deliveroo or Just Eat.

Offering a range of handmade 12-inch pizzas named after Irish sporting icons including the Sonia O’Sullivan (comes with tomato sauce, Cork buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, and oregano) and the Katie Taylor (topped with tomato sauce, Kerry shredded mozzarella, double pepperoni, and free-range chorizo), you will have plenty to choose from.

If you fancy something more experimental, why not try the Mick O’Dwyer, which is a wholegrain pizza base topped with roast ham, organic cherry tomatoes, wild and local mushrooms, scamorza, and truffle oil, with the option of adding a splash of tomato sauce.

After a year of continued upheaval for the hospitality industry and many local businesses, you’ll be glad to hear that The Back Page makes sure to support local by sourcing local produce.

So if you’re in Dublin, why not head to one of Phibsborough’s top-rated pizza places for your takeaway this weekend?

The Back Page is open seven days a week from 4 pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 11 pm on Friday, 12 pm to 11 pm on Saturday, and 12 pm to 10 pm on Sunday.
