Aer Lingus has recently announced that they will have a record number of flights to the US and Canada this summer.

Aer Lingus has recently shown its commitment to transatlantic flights from Ireland as it announced that it will have a record number of flights to the US and Canada in 2023.
The famous Irish aircraft carrier recently revealed that their number of flights to the United States had increased 236% since the US borders reopened to international travellers last year.
An example of this massive increase is the statistic which shows that in November 2021, Aer Lingus operated 141 flights into the US.
In November 2022, this number jumped to 473 flights, with the number of available seats rocketing to almost 90,000 compared to only a few months ago.
Launching its summer schedule – its biggest ever

The newly launched summer schedule for 2023 by Aer Lingus is its biggest ever, with 13 of its 17 US and Canada routes launching from either Dublin Airport or Shannon Airport.
The increased capacity in flights for 2023 directly responds to the overwhelming customer demand for transatlantic flights.
Aer Lingus has over 2.25 million transatlantic summer seats on sale, making it the airline’s largest-ever North American summer schedule.
2023 – set to be a year of resurgence

Summer 2023 is seen by many industries as being a time for a continuing resurgence in a post-pandemic world.
As demand for travelling abroad, especially in the warmer summer months, returned last year, Irish consumers have continued that trend by favouring foreign holidays over domestic ones.
In the peak of the coming summer, Aer Lingus is set to deploy its entire Airbus A330 fleet and A321neo LR aircraft on its flights across the Atlantic.
This will grant Aer Lingus the ability to offer 20% more available seats on its flights from Ireland to North America than it did in 2019.
Irish flights to the US and Canada – more flights than ever

Besides offering more flights than ever to the US and Canada, the most popular of flights, such as the routes to Boston, Chicago, New York JFK and Washington D.C, will operate double daily from Dublin during peak summer.
There is also a new route to Cleveland, Ohio, commencing in May, and the Hartford, Connecticut, route resuming in March for the first time since the pandemic.
Speaking about the summer 2023 schedule, Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer, said, “We’re seeing a big appetite for travel and our ambitious expansion into North America continues with Cleveland and Hartford services beginning, making our summer transatlantic schedule a record breaker with 2.25 million seats on sale”.
The Aer Lingus 2023 summer schedule is now available to book on aerlingus.com.
