Vegetarianism and veganism lifestyles are on the rise. Although on a world scale Dublin may be small, it is a city that caters well to its vegetarian and vegan natives.

From vegan chippers and vegan butchers (yes these are real) based in the city centre, the hype and creativity continues as Dublin increasingly incorporated new food ideas and recipes.

These diets, both the vegetarian and vegan diets are becoming very popular, more and more you’ll see restaurants opening up, and many of these are vegan based or vegetarian based restaurants which is great to see, especially seeing as Ireland is renowned for its dairy and meat industry.

The market is now pushing towards Irish plant growers as the increased popularity in the plant-based diets has become increasingly important and more popular.

Dining in Dublin as a veggie has never been better, you will notice there are new vegetarian options all over Dublin and growing. Here is five of our favourite places to eat vegetarian/vegan food in Dublin.
